SurfSense 2.0 is a rebuild, not an upgrade of 0.0.40. Its documentation is being written now and will appear here.
Until then, the SurfSense 0.0.40 docs remain accurate for the release that ships today: the Docker self-host stack, connectors, messaging channels, and local model setup. Use the version dropdown at the top of the sidebar to switch between them.
Anything published under 0.0.40 describes that version only. Do not assume it carries over to 2.0.
