Reporting a problem
Report a bug from inside SurfSense, so the report carries what the team needs:
Open Settings › Report issue, or choose Report issue on an error message. On a Mac, Help › Report Issue… works too.
Under What went wrong?, say what you were doing and what happened instead.
Keep Include the session log on, and choose Continue on GitHub. GitHub opens with your report filled in, and the log is copied for you.
Paste the log into Logs on GitHub, then submit.
GitHub issues are public. The log is copied, not sent, so you can read it and remove anything you'd rather not share before you paste it. It only covers the current session, so report from the same session the problem happened in, before you restart.
To add your version and system details to a report by hand, use Copy system info in Settings › About.
You can also browse or open issues directly on GitHub.
